Our first company emerged to serve the confectionery sector by printing only cellophane on simple rotogravure printing equipment of the time.

At the end of the 80s, the flexible packaging market underwent major changes when cellophane became obsolete, other options such as BOPP and changing the trend arose.

At the end of the 90s Polytwist is founded. We continue to serve the confectionery market with a product that replaces the cellophane made by us with a mixture of several polymers.

Early 2000s we transformed and migrated to the most modern central drum flexography technology of the time. We changed the strategy and expanded the production line to BOPP and varied laminations.

Facing the challenges of the market and with the support of new technologies that this item requires we install an ultra modern plant for the elaboration of roll fed label and flexible packaging and with this beginning a new stage of growth for which we rename the company Flexo 1 - Polytwist with this committed to being the # 1 choice in flexible packaging for our customers.

Despite difficult times in Flexo 1, we continue forward without stopping, we make new investments in order to increase production capacity. Thus continuing with our principle of high efficiency to continue being the best relation to quality and competitiveness for our valued clients

We continue to strengthen our service in the manufacture of films for flexible packaging and roll fed labels, in order to exceed quality and safety standards, for which we have obtained certification in the FSSC 22000 scheme and the ISO 9001:2015 standard, endorsed by the recognized certifying body DNV.
